Ahh Madison on crisp November morning. The smell of beer and the sounds of squealing sorority girls wafting through the air. There truly is nothing quite like game day at the University of Wisconsin. I have experienced game day tailgates at several other schools over the years and I can truly say nobody tops UW.
If you haven't had the privilege of experiencing Madison on game day I am here to present to you my Do's and Do Not's of a Badger game day.
Do's of Game Day:
1. Do hydrate. You'll thank me later.
2. Do wear comfortable shoes. No body is going to remember if you wore your Gucci sneakers or your beat up Converse. They won't even remember your name probably.
3. Do rep your team. You are not too cool to show support and if you think you are you are going to get thrown some serious shade all day. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Do Not's of Game Day:
1. Do not stray from your friends. Only bad things happen when you leave the pack. Trust me.
2. Do not drink things from people you don't know. Ew nobody likes stranger germs and there are some scary people out there.
3. Do not do a keg stand if you have no upper body strength. Don't ask how I know that either just take my word okay, okay.
Hope this helps! Tag me in your Badger tailgate pictures @haileyrohlinger
xx,
Hailey
