74 games, 17 flights, 12 hotels, 3 champagne celebrations and 1 history making season. 2018 was a weird year for me. Moved back to Wisconsin after a year away at school and was feeling a little lost. If you would have told me in May 2018 that baseball was going to turn my world upside down by October I would have laughed in your face. Not only did it turn my world upside down but it taught me a lot of things I didn't expect it to and no they weren't all about baseball...well most of them aren't.
18 Things I learned during the Brewers 2018 Season:
1. Take risks
This one is dedicated to my decision to move back to Milwaukee.
2. Speak your mind
Easier said than done.
3. It's good to fail
How else are you going to learn.
4. Something better will come along
Just give it time.
5. Be selfish sometimes
Don't feel bad about doing something that is going to benefit you.
6. Balls come before strikes
A 2-1 count reads "2 balls, 1 Strike"
7. It's okay to say "No"
If you have too much on your plate, you won't benefit from taking on more.
8. Be realistic
No matter how much you workout or eat right you are not going to look like an Instagram model and THATS OK!
9. Some of the biggest names in sports have the biggest hearts
Check out my "Giving Back" tab
10. Don't hold a grudge
Get over it, it's not worth your time or energy!
11. Stop comparing yourself to others
Someone will always be smarter or skinnier. It will never stop going but you should stop being anyone but yourself.
12. Our Crew. Our October.
Enough said.
13. Never ditch your parents
They are your biggest cheerleaders.
14. Nothing last forever
Not only to people change, but so will you.
15. You don't need toxic people in your life
Find your true friends and stick with them.
16. Be the bigger person
It may be hard sometimes, but trust me its always worth it
17. Don't settle for being someone's sometimes
Everyone deserves a person or a group of friends who will give them their full attention and be there for you when you're worst.

xx,
Hailey
